About Five Towns Hand Car Wash
Five Towns Hand Car Wash is a car wash in Lawrence, New York. It is listed at 530 Rockaway Tpke, Lawrence, NY 11559, which places it among the local businesses of Lawrence that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Lawrence is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lawrence follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I purchased the Diamond package, which is the most expensive wash before the full detailing service, and I was very disappointed with the results. My car is brand new—I picked it up just three weeks ago—and this was its very first car wash. The car wasn't even very dirty to begin with, yet it honestly didn't seem like the interior was vacuumed at all. The dashboard and other interior surfaces were wiped down very poorly, and the wheels were still dirty when the car was finished. The owner was very nice and genuinely tried to accommodate my concerns, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, that doesn't change the quality of the work I received. Based on my experience, if you're looking for a decent car wash, I would recommend going elsewhere.

So disappointing. I used to come here religiously and I would always get detailing. Good thing today i was in a rush so i chose the super . This is THE worst car wash I’ve ever had. Even the inexpensive ones do a better job than this. It’s like I never even got a wash. 41$ down the drain . They are not even hiding the fact that they are no longer wgat they used to be . The manager agreed with my mom saying “yea they should’ve used armorall” and walked away. Literally A JOKE!

Highly priced services for poor quality cleaning. All work is rushed & unaccounted for from the minute you step out of your car. You pay for the best package, they deliver under basic service and then you have to walk out to the manager and show them your receipt for them to go back to your car and do all the extra things you payed and was charged for.

I was impressed the first time I went. I received a thorough cleaning for the price. The 2nd time I went back, was on a slow weekday, so I expected the same service since there was no wait. The prices increased, and the quality of work decreased. Even though so many people worked on the car, there was a lot that was not done inside the vehicle. I paid $56 with mats included. I must say I was unsatisfied. It was a 4/10. Either they were tired or lazy. I most likely would NOT return.

Worst place I have ever washed my car at. We paid almost $50 to wash a regular SUV when diagnosed basic. I have never paid that amount of money on a regular basic wash. Usually it rises between $22-$30. And not only that, the car wasn’t even cleaned. There were white marks inside the car and when reached kindly to the cleaners and asked them to clean it, they said it does not included, and it needs to be upgraded to detailed wash for over $200.00 absolutely ridiculous and definitely will not come back again.
